Ultrasound To Go provides mobile veterinary ultrasound for small animals in Calgary and surrounding areas.
We travel to your clinic or hospital and provide in-house ultrasound exams. These exams need to be ordered and followed by a Veterinarian. All exams are performed by a qualified small animal Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and imaging is sent to a Board Certified Veterinary Radiologist or Cardiologist for interpretation. Reports are back within 24-72 hours depending on exam type and urgency. STAT exams and same day bookings are available for an additional fee.
Abdominal Ultrasound
This study interrogates the intra-abdominal organs such as the liver gallbladder, spleen, kidneys, adrenal glands, pancreas, bladder, gastrointestinal tract, lymph nodes prostate and blood vessels.
Small Part
The study focusses on assessment of the thyroid/parathyroid, saliva glands, hernias, superficial lumps, subcutaneous, fluid collections, (seroma, hematoma, abscess), or post surgical sites, etc.
Renal/ Reproductive/ Pregnancy
This study focusses on assessment of reproductive organs, uterus, ovaries, prostate and testes, or to confirm pregnancy, approximate fetal count and viability. Pregnancy examination should be performed between 30 to 35 days post LH search or last known breeding.
Echocardiogram
Standard of care cardiac images and measurements will be obtained. Colour Doppler and M mode tracing’s including CW will be documented. This exam is interpreted by a veterinary cardiologist. X-rays can also be submitted for an additional charge.
